Repairing Kitchen After Water Damage
The kitchen pictured here had water damage that was the result of a broken pipe. Our team was called to repair the damage.
The first thing we did was to remove the standing water and begin to set out drying equipment. Some of the equipment we use in a situation like this may include air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filtered air scrubbers. The reason we place these pieces of equipment in areas that have been damaged by water is that moisture that is left for too long can result in secondary issues like the growth of mold. Placing these pieces of equipment helps moisture to evaporate quickly and helps to mitigate further damage.
